Almost Done

Me at 8 1/2 months pregnant

As the end of my pregnancy draws near, I thought I'd share about my progress thus far for those that are interested. I am doing great! In perfect health and staying active. I haven't had any problems so far, so I'm praying that it stays that way until I'm done. Although I am very uncomfortable at this point. Jackson is weighing in at 5 pounds now and has already dropped. His head is fully engaged, and he is locked and loaded ready to move out. He is still pretty active and at all of his ultrasounds hams it up for the doctor and nurses. They love to come in and watch him do his acrobatics. He keeps me awake at night, so I'm a little tired lately, but still hanging in there. Because he is so low I am waddling even more these days. I'm sure it must be humorous. I'm having contractions daily. Nothing to be to concerned about, since I'm getting closer, it's pretty normal. It's still insanely hot outside, so I am mostly staying inside in the air conditioning. It should be cooling down here at the end of August. I'm really looking forward to it!

My parents have bought their plane tickets and have their passports. They will be arriving on Jackson's due date and staying for a good 2 weeks. I can hardly wait. I'm sure I will become quite the hormonally emotional pregnant woman when I see them for the first time. I have been busy getting their room ready. Brandon is still out to sea. He is doing rather well, but really would rather come home and be with his wife. I'm hoping that Jackson can hold out a little longer and wait for his Daddy to come home before he makes his entrance to the world. He will be back in a few weeks. Just in time.

Things seem to be going smoothly and right on schedule. I'm thanking God for my many blessings. And preparing the best that I can for our upcoming adventure. In just a few short weeks I'll be holding my baby boy and enjoying motherhood.
